Privacy

Word Run is the publisher of the Word Run app. This page says what happens to information when you play.

Information collected

You do not need an account. The app does not ask for your name, email, or phone number. Your progress stays on your device.

Gameplay and analytics

The app as described here does not use an analytics tool or a crash reporter. We do not keep a record of the words you spell or how long you play. This page names no analytics or crash SDK, because none is part of the app as described here.

Device information

Word Run does not collect device identifiers, contacts, photos, or location. Apple may process device information as part of the App Store. That stays with Apple.

Advertising

The app does not show ads. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

In-app purchases

The app as described here does not include a list of in-app purchases. If the app offers a purchase, Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your card number. Apple may confirm that a purchase went through, under Apple's own privacy policy.

Third-party services

If you use Game Center, that profile stays with Apple. We only receive what Apple provides for Game Center features you choose to use. No other third-party service is part of the app as described here.

Children's privacy

Word Run does not ask children to make an account or to send us personal information. Progress stays on the device. A parent can email support@wordrunapp.com with a question.

Data retention

Progress stored on the device remains until you delete the app or erase the device. We do not keep a separate copy of your progress on a server. Apple keeps its own records of App Store purchases and of Game Center under Apple's rules.

User choices

Deleting the app removes the progress stored on that device. You can turn Game Center off in your device settings if you do not want to use it. Email support@wordrunapp.com to ask us to delete an account or any data we hold. If you never made an account, we do not have a player profile to delete.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page. The date at the top changes when we do.
